July 31-August 4, 2006

Middle and High School

  • Day 1 – Overview of year. Teachers share summer study experiences and research; roundtable discussions of books in small groups using discussion guides.
    Breakfast and lunch provided.
  • Day 2 – Analysis of student work samples; unit organizers; curriculum planning; using Blackboard. Breakfast and lunch on your own.
  • Day 3 – Analysis of student work samples; unit organizers; curriculum planning.
    Breakfast and lunch on your own.
  • Day 4 – Tom Heuertz, Education Director, Truman Library and Museum; curriculum planning
    Breakfast and lunch provided.
  • Day 5 – Curriculum planning; MALS group meets Breakfast and lunch provided.
